Consistent with CSC-MC No. 24 s. 2016:  Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Maturity Level Indicators specifically under ‘Recruitment, Selection and Placement’ Pillar:  Talent Selection and Placement which is partly defined as ‘preparing new entrants to the Agency and their roles to facilitate integration and performance, and promote retention’ and pursuant to DepEd Order 19 s. 2022:  DepEd Merit Selection Plan establishes a competency-based Agency Merit Selection Plan to ensure that at all governance levels, the Department hires and retains the right people for the right job at the right time.  The SDO Onboarding program is initiated.  Onboarding is the process of integrating a new employee with an organization and its culture, vision, mission, and values through a structured process of acclimatizing the new hire to his/her roles and responsibilities with the objective of helping him/her become a productive employee of the organization.
